Penumbra

It is in the dead hours that I see life. In the trimmings of time, falling, suspended by the sighs. Splashing like drops of water left over from a dead seat in a drinking fountain. From the pencil the splinters remain, the agile shadows that forget the light and that, tired, leave their urgency of marks and lean. To be allowed to be. The fallen hours, hanging in the days, remember questions again, making shadows in the eyes, to make them fall by the thoughts. Ashes that always remain, so that from time to time in the air they spread, and become dust, returning to land. Leaving it to be.
In the dead hours, the sounds start, rolled up, leaving a trace in the ears, at the end of the line of thought, in the shadow of memory. And there they rest. For a day to remember.
And the body lives, by the gestures of light, by the outline of the shadows, the stillness, the move-ments, the drawings and the stains that remain of the trimmings of time.
