Strange Smoke Under My Skin
Movement may be one of the most intuitive and expressive forms used to control many musical parameters. In this context, musicians and conductor co-exist in the same space, linking traditional instrumental interpretation to the body and its movement. The main objective is to create new forms of interaction between music and movement, questioning the role of the conductor in contemporary times. The cause and effect of the body expression of the conductor will be explored, both musically and in terms of performance, in a strict dialogue with the scenic movement of the ensemble, exploring the realms of musical interpretation, improvisation and choreography.
