Residência de escrita

This writing residency will be an immersion into the process of writing my PhD dissertation in Contemporary Art (University of Coimbra, College of Arts) around Composition in Real Time, a platform (a field, a plan, a territory) of study and experimentation around decision and collaboration in art, which moves in a time that is simultaneous “Not anymore” and “not yet”. A time where the detail, the shadow and the periphery have the same role as what is in the light, in the center and in the whole. A time where positions are taken, so that compositions take place, offer themselves and happen. This is the “time” (and space) of Real Time Composition: one that does not aspire to anything other than the “non-saber together”; and that has as its sole objective “car with the problem” (stay with the problem) as Donna Haraway invites us.
