SCAPPARE
Scappare comes from the Latin “excappare” and means “to leave the screed”, to escape. Leonard Bernstein conducted the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra in 1983 on the finale of Haydn’s Symphony in G No. 88 with his face and mainly his eyes.
Like a fugue, all kinds of multitudes of bodies and figures appear and escape, flee. A body that contains several. Loneliness in front of a group and back to another.
Emphasize the unusual, mysterious and chaotic nature of the human experience. The great tragicomic and absurd spectacle that we give us humans, with all the horrors and beauties that this implies. The inconsistency of the things that follow. Irrational drives. Being able to use them.
