Pantera was born on the island of Santiago, Cape Verde, in 1967. He left us when he was 33 years old. His daughter Darlene, who was only 6 years old at the time of his death, has been carrying out deep research into her father’s life and work; it was in this context that she challenged us to pay homage to him. Pantera opened new paths in the music of his country. Cape Verde and its people pulsed in his voice. About these traits, we find our own vision, through the experiences we were able to share with him, as a friend and as an artist. This is a project built on the wanderings of memory. Between how much remains to be done and how much remains to be said, this is our message to Pantera.
