The annulment of time by overlapping it. For pleasure and pain. For effort and abandonment. We dilute the body with no time or geography. We inaudibly amplify the primordial drum. We go through the eroticism and the struggle of sisterhood. We scream in suppressed voices and bodies. It’s such an old time that we haven’t found it yet.
.G RITO speaks of a spot, an enigma and a felt presence. It also speaks of worship, liturgy, ritual. Ceremony, formality and protocol. Of norm, pattern and practice. There is a rhythm to all changes, what vibrates is what we feel and what precedes understanding. The voice is one but no one knows that anymore, it was forgotten.
Completed the graduation in Architecture and a postgraduate in Scenography. Wrote the thesis “Dwelling typologies of Alto da Cova da Moura”. In 2012 she finished her degree in Dance. In 1999 began studying dances from Middle East and North Africa, and since 2006 has been working on North American Urban Dances. In 2012, founded the collective Orchidaceae. As a performer collaborated with several choreographers.From her own work highlights: “(I)logical body” and “HIP.a pussy point of view”
