Nobody needs to believe in the real. To have faith is to trust what is not the evidence of cases. The clearest of all is death itself. The believe that death is not the end of the living beings is the emblem of all acts of faith that, like the expression leap of faith so well expresses, implies a leap. Faith is always a leap. A leap over reality and rationality.

In Dicionário da Fé, Jean Paul Bucchieri starts from Gonçalo M. Tavares texto and looks at faith as a way of circumventing the real. It remains to be seen weather the world we know, or judge as authentic, is not also an act of faith.
