“A chinese mast as a partner seems unlikely and yet it has been with me for 20 years now. I am the man I am thanks to it, a 6 meter mast raised skyward.We didn’t go through time the same way, me and it.Time has allowed me to learn to master the mast, just as it will erase everything it has taught me.For now, it is still time to enjoy this osmosis and this dance on this familiar verticality once again.I know I must adapt my gesture, my body tells me. And this idea pleases me.I will have to talk to it, some other way, and let myself be shaped by this limitation – the time passing – and thus, draw another path. ”
