ARENA
ARENA is a game without words that relies solely on the actors’ bodies and creativity. As a starting point, we will replace text for sound or, in other words, attempt the theatrical equivalent to a choreography, discovering narrative in the suggestive power of music.
Sílvio Vieira studied Sociology in ISCTE-IUL and has a degree in Theatre (Acting) from the Lisbon Theatre and Film School. As an actor, he worked with directors Álvaro Correia, Ana Zamora, Carlos J. Pessoa, Fernando Vendrell, Jorge Cramez, Luis Miguel Cintra, Miguel Loureiro, Patrícia Moreira, Ricardo Neves-Neves and Tiago Guedes. Member of As Crianças Loucas, founder and co-director of outro — a Lisbon-based platform for investigation and artistic creation.
